Wednesday Lenten Service Once again, the Clarke Episcopal Parish will host noon devotional services on Wednesdays during the season of Lent.The services will be held in the sanctuary of Grace Episcopal Church and will feature sermons preached by local community Pastors.Preaching this week will be our Pastor, Jonathan Bunker.A light luncheon will be served in the Grace Episcopal Parish Hall following the worship service.Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend.

“The Present Word” leads us in the Spring 2010 quarter of studies with the general theme “Teachings on Community”. Unit I: “Community with a Mission” has the March lessons based on scripture from Jonah and Ruth:
March 7Mission to the CommunityJonah 1:1-3; 3:1-9 March 14 A Community to RedeemJonah 3:10-4:5 March 21 Family as Community Ruth 1:1-9, 14b, 16 March 28 Acceptance in CommunityRuth 2:5-12; 3:9-11 We will consider Jonah’s experiences with a community and then look at Ruth’s focus on the family as a community.A part of these studies will be how God works with people and gives us a view of community in Christ’s name. Again, we invite you to join with us on Sunday mornings in the church library about 9:45 AM, for study and discussion from 10:00-10:30.
